A comprehensive Nadya Suleman biography
As with anyone who suddenly appears in the national spotlight, a lot of questions have been raised about the background and bio of Nadya Suleman. Many people wonder what kind of person would have 14 children while living on public assistance. Luckily, taking a look at Ms. Suleman’s background can answer a lot of these questions.
Nadya Suleman, who is currently 33 years old, was born in Fullerton, California, and has lived for her entire life in southern California, living in La Puente, Hacienda Heights, and Rowland Heights as she was growing up.
After graduating from high school in La Puente, Nadya Suleman got a psychiatric technician’s license and went to work at Metropolitan State Hospital, a mental hospital in Norwalk, California. In 1999, during a patient riot at the hospital, Ms. Suleman sustained a back injury, for which she claimed disability. She later amended her disability claim to include depression related to being unable to work. Since her initial disability filing, Nadya Suleman has received over $160,000 in disability payments, which in conjunction with the food stamps Ms. Suleman receives has allowed her to support herself despite being unemployed.
While on disability, Nadya Suleman enrolled at California State University at Fullerton, and completed a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent development. Although she was pursuing a masters degree in counseling from the same institution, she left the program after becoming pregnant with her octuplets.
Prior to her most recent pregnancy, Nadya Suleman had six children, ranging from 2 years old to 7 years old, including a set of twins. All of these children were conceived via in vitro fertilization, just as the octuplets were.
So what does Nadya Suleman’s bio tell us about her? It shows us someone who has been on support from the government and from her parents for most of her adult life, as well as someone who potentially suffers from chronic depression. Ms. Suleman told a psychologist that she was suicidal while she was attempting to conceive her first child. If anything, we at least see someone who has made it her sole mission life to have children.

Her stomach isn’t the only thing thats HUGE in this picture, take a look at the size of her lips!! Don’t tell me that she hasn’t had plastic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie!! Those lips are MUCH MUCH bigger than Angelina’s anyway!

Her bio tells me thats its not relle her fault that she does not work, and that she loves children. I say GOOD FOR HER… she will probably be one of the best mothers out there.
I say if she truly loved kids then she would make sure that her kids would get enogh love and care. 1st off having octuplets is very dangerous for each baby seeing how they are born with low birth weights and other health problems. 2nd one mother (does she have a partner I’m guessing not) cannot give her full attention love and care to 14 kids and 3rd she is already on welfare and therefore should not have more kids than her budget allows. She is irresponsible and is endangering each of her babies abilities to have a good childhood that each baby deserves. And the fact that she has had every single baby in vitro is just plain greedy, there are women in this world that would give anything to have 1 child and here she is having 14 and no means to support them.
She wanted to become a FAMOUS. She did it! It’s her way to popularity. There are so many actresses, singers, models… If you want to be famous you should something really crazy. She found the way. Everybody talks about her, ’cause she’s America’s Octo-Mom! Great job! She made history! Bravo!!!
8 babies – it’s a miracle but when they are “made” in a natural way! She knew what she was doing (7 planned babies & 8 as the result). So many people hope to have a baby & then give their kids as much as they can. Octo-mom thinks just about their quantity, forgetting about quality of her & kids lives.
Like alot of others this woman knows how to work the system……she is a welfare mooch and is set for life after spitting out all of these kids. She needs to be taken off of welfare and made to get a REAL job and support the kids that she wanted so badly. I have 3 chicldren I had to work to support them I dodn’t run off to welfare for free handputs. I don’t believe she has a bad back if she make money doing stgripping at bachelor parties.

i agree with corina as well, i have one son am a single mom in school, and that in itself is hard…then managing to give my son the attention he needs an deserves….i think it is not humanly possible to be a single mom with 14 children and give them all what they need and deserve, i believe she has some psychiatric problems,thats no excuse but the system should keep their eye on her , she is a selfish woman to do this to become famous
People were talking like she never had anything. No one says anything about her finishing High School, & going on 2 college. She is a good example. U can have all the education in the world. that doesnt mean you cant have hard times. About her purposely having all these kids?. Whats the name for that symptom?
BTW. She cant be 2 disabled, if she can carry all those kids. I mean keep getting pregnant. Does any 1 know how hard it is 2 carry kids? Even 4 healthy women!

‘ve got questions. is dis woman in her rite sense? aw cld she b so cruel 2 herself & her kids al in d name of bin in d tabloids. did she put deir health in2 consideration? wat if dey al died in durin d process? do dis kids av a father if not was d pregnancy an experiment? if it was an experiment, wat’s it caled? who’s d stupid doc. dat conducted dis experiment? since she said she has an achin back, aw did she survive throughout d course of her pregnancy wit dis big tommy on a small body? can’t social service get d children 4rm her & fend 4 dem since she’s not a gud mother? dis ‘re questions dat need answers.
I think that it is ironic that she has a bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent development and started a masters degree in counseling and yet has her own mental problems. She has dealt with depression on and off for years and drops out of graduate school to have more children. Having children is a great thing if you can afford them and have a healthy mental state of being. Rationality should have spoken to her and said,” finish your masters degree, get a job, get off welfare and then go back for in vitro fertilization”. Lucky for her America is in love with reality TV. Lastly, it should be against the law to purposely pay to be impregnated while on welfare.

Did I hear anyone sat “Reality Show”? What a way to milk the system. Why didn’t I think of that 40 years ago instead of working my fanny off all my life. I just shake my head and wonder where do these people come from with their skewed idea of what life in the “real world” is.
To all of you who say “good for her”, she is living off of YOUR tax dollars. What do you think about that? AND instead of adopting children who NEED homes and loving families, she continues to add to an already overcrowded nation. She is a nut and should never have been allowed to have kids, especially on disability, and shame on her “doctor” for aiding in this problem.

She looks like one of those spiders with a big belly where she is pregnant. She thought she would play of peoples love for children………..she is mental for doing what she’s done to herself. No man in his right mind would ever want her and her numerous kids to take care of.
But I guess all she ever cared about was to “make it big” in America. She needs to be put behind bars or locked up in a mental hospital, and all those poor children need to be adopted to people who have no kids. Octomom you suck big time !!!
