Nadya Suleman is the mother of the octuplets, which were born in California in early 2009. Before Nadya gave birth to octuplets, she had 6 other children. Nadya Suleman’s decision to proceed with her octuplet pregnancy has created a media frenzy and millions of debates about the morals of fertility treatments and multiple births.

I created this website because I thought her story was interesting and there are so many different views on this subject that it’s exciting to see everyones comments and opinions on this controversial topic. I didn’t build this website to bash Nadya Suleman, like many others and the media are doing, but just to bring this amazing story to the internet.

I agree with many…if she was on public assistance before this pregnancy, then she was irresponsible to have more. Couples all over limit the kids they have mainly for financial reasons, but since she’s getting supported by the state, nothing stopped her and it’s wront. And not for nothing….. she’s absolutely irresponsible for getting cosmetic procedures done while she was pregnant and soon after. Really!!!!! THATS what was important? First she takes drugs that can cause birth defects with the first children ” see workmans comp files” Then she insist on 11 fresh embyos implanted , knowing that it could lead to birth defects or death of the babies. It was 17 not 14 lives she tried to hurt. She knew the risk of everything she did , 17 lives and some would call it a mistake or call her a mother. WOW. I will save all my sympathy and prayers for those children. These babies had rights too before they were born. Why so much sympathy for NS, but not for these children and all those left over frozen ones? Why do some of you put your focus on NS and not the helpless babies? Be positive? Are you nuts? How many more babies?
She seems too busy flaunting her stuff, when her 15 minutes of fame should have been cut off when it all started. Getting plastic surgery and going to the gym off of the taxpayers’ money, and not staying at home to take care of her children? She did all of this at the expense of the children. The children are the ones who deserve the money. The children need to be placed in child protective services and adopted by loving families. They deserve so much better than what she is giving them. If anything happens, I do hope they get away from her.

I think everyone on here who has a negitive opinion needs to seriously SHUT THE f**k UP!! it was her choice to have 8 babies, and she is the one who has to live with it and take care of them, NOT US!! Quit worrying about her and everyone else and worry about yourselves. God did bless her with these babies, weather or not she used a fertillity treatment HE ULTIMATELY made the decision to allow 8 beautiful babies to be born. I would like to start off by saying the ongoing debate of whether it is the doctor’s or Nadya’s fault that she ended up with 8 babies is utterly ridiculous. What people need to realize is that this is the only method she was able to have any of her kids. A woman can have 10 embrios placed into her and only end up with one or possibly none at all! The fact is that she only had 6 left to try for 1 and ended up with 8. I believe that considering that she did not intially expect to have 8 babies, I believe that she is adjusting very well. Not only that, when was the last time more than 5 babies were born at one time that actually all survived? As a matter of fact even the possibility of Quintuplets are very rare! People should see this for what it really is, a miracle. that’s it.I believe she is a blessed woman who should be seen as such. Now as for the issue on the duggars you people who claim that they are better because they are married, well their not. The have what 20 kids and counting? Which is obviously more than Nadya and not only that, they are still going. I have watched several episodes on them and what you need to realize is that every pregnancy they had was planned. Every single child was intentional! Not only that, they take their kids to thrift stores to buy there clothes once a year because they can’t afford it other wise. Also apparently they have such amazing jobs, if this is so, then they should not be taking their kids to a thrift store to buy their clothes. My husband and I only make a combined income of 90 thousand a year and we still have the means after our house payments, bills, and groceries to buy our children what ever they want. (within reason of course). As for the tax payer issue, you need to understand she is an educated woman with a degree and it’s probably hard to find a job where there’s not a permanent camera in her face. It’s no secret that the media is intrusive!Nadya your a good woman and parent and you are in our prayers!

1. I’m sorry for her children. Due to prematurity, they will probably have physical and mental issues.
2, Octomom is a narcissist. All these unfortunate kids she cranks out like an AK-47 shooting bullets are conceived and born to reflect and magnify her glorious, magnificent self. Poor thing, she had no brothers and sisters! Now she’s getting back at her mom, getting her own reality show, and getting people to cheer for her on top of it all.

Really …. I envy her. last year I lost my son through a car accident. I have remarried since and I hope, pray and wish that the one which helped her can help me. I want to have a large family because I am older and multiple birth would help. I am a good mother and want to be a good mother again.. and i came from a large family and I know what issues come from it. Every baby born is from God,no matter what means He chose to get them here. God tells us he knew us before we were conceived, all of us. He knew the color of your eyes and every hair on our head. I understand why Nadya chose to have these fertilized eggs implanted, because she believes, as many do, they are not simply fertized eggs. or embryo’s, but babies, her babies. She could not choose selective abortion because they are her babies, regardless of how they got there or the fact that they cannot survive outside the womb on their own, some of us truly believe that it is a baby from conception. This is a life. No matter what Nadya does, she is villified. Maybe she is going to school on taxpayer money, as many single mothers are doing. Has it occured to you that in the long run we all are better off for that? That will enable her to obtain a better job to support herself and her children. As far as leaving this woman alone, are you kidding me. First of all, how many embryos did that doctor implant. I underwent an ivf and was giiven 3 because of my age, I was 38 at the time. So what’s wrong with that doctor, he just wanted the notariety for this big venture. This woman is a slob and a drain on society. How can a single mom on welfare support 14 children in a way that would be befitting to today’s society. Of course they can have any of the extras that smaller families can provide for their children. And did you know that welfare does give money for each child with no limits and with all these children and if some have physical, mental or emotional impairments, she will get more money. And how in God’s name did she pay for all of those IVF treatments. My husband and I both work full time and had to take out a five year loan for our 1 IVF treatment which failed by the way. So, we were left broke, childless and heartbroken. Instead of donating money to her to enable her craziness, why don’t some rich folks and the goverment step up with programs for childless couples to realize their dreams to at least have one child. God bless all those who struggle with infertility, hopefully someday there will be hope for us. And in the end, she will get hers. What goes around comes around.

Major kudos to her for not putting such a bad thing out to both influence other in our society plus the trauma to her in doing it especially in the loss of her friends & family’s respect, etc. Integrity was more important… not a common thing these days.

None of the above comments would be here if the children were being raised by loving, adoptive parents with jobs.
Many loving birth mothers courageously give their precious little ones to infertile couples. These birth mothers are honest with themselves and accept the fact they can’t financially support their babies. They realize they must finish their educations. They know the adoptions are in the best interests of the children, who have needs of their own.
But does Nadya do this? No. She doesn’t love her babies. She just exploits them for money. She loves what they do for her, financially.
